How I became a Lovable Certified Expert
In February 2025, Lovable was an experiment for me. On 17 September 2026, it became a certification: proof of the amount of real product work I had shipped with it, not just a badge on a profile.
It started as an experiment
My first serious reason to use Lovable was simple: I wanted to see whether a designer could build real products without handing the entire implementation to a separate team. I already had the visual side: photography, retouching, graphic design, UX/UI design and product judgement. The missing piece was speed on the build side.
That experiment did not stay small. Since February 2025, I have worked through more than 40 Lovable projects: portfolio sites, landing pages, SaaS experiments, CMS systems, internal tools, payment flows, authentication, dashboards, notification systems and product prototypes that needed to feel polished, not provisional.
The projects that changed the way I work
LuxynStudio was the point where the experiment became serious. It was not only a website. It became a full AI photography platform with accounts, a CMS, payment onboarding, subscriptions, email flows, logging, realtime notifications, protected user data and two-factor authentication. I had to learn schemas, row-level security, cost control and the practical side of keeping a product safe.
ZoomAssist Pro came from a different direction. I built the Premiere Pro plugin with Claude, then built the landing page, visual narrative, tutorial videos and changelog around it in Lovable. I released it for free, watched it pass 600 downloads, and fixed two real bugs after people started using it. That is where AI-assisted development stops being a demo and becomes support work.
Other builds pushed different muscles: Foodyn, UX/UI design for condominium house management, content-managed sites, internal admin systems and small tools where the hard part was not the screen itself, but the decision of what the product should do and what it should ignore.
What the certification means to me
Becoming a Lovable Certified Expert on 17 September 2026 matters because it recognizes the mix I care about: not only prompting, not only design, not only code, but making complete products that hold together visually, structurally and commercially.
- Website building: fast, polished pages with clear hierarchy, strong visual direction and proper SEO foundations.
- App building: working product flows, CMS systems, accounts, payments, notifications and data protection.
- UX/UI product design: deciding how the thing should work before deciding how it should look.
- AI-first development: using AI tools heavily while still checking security, cost, edge cases and real-user behaviour.
Why it fits my creative technologist path
The reason Lovable clicked for me is that it rewards the same pattern I have followed for years: learn the thing the work needs next. I started with images, moved into interfaces, then into full products. Lovable made that path faster, but it did not remove the need for taste, systems thinking or responsibility.
That is the real value of being a certified expert: I can move from the first product idea to the working surface, while still caring about the image, the interaction, the content, the database, the cost and the person who eventually has to use it.
